Here is a woman who speaks her mind about women in the beer industry, life & work at Great State Aleworks and what a great place to work it makes.
Radhika started her career in the hospitality industry and then moved to the beer industry with absolutely no regrets. In fact, she believes that it is the best thing that has happened to her, in spite of the uncertain long working hours and every day is a new day, new challenges work culture.
As an industry insider, she particularly stresses the merits of craft beer, the science behind it and what goes behind in crafting one. She feels beer enthusiasts shouldn't be afraid to join the industry, as it is the future of beer in India and the beer community is openly accepting it.
With regard to Great State Aleworks, she elaborates on the diverse experiments of beer styles, specially brewed from locally sourced ingredients to make them ‘Made in India for India’.
One thing is certain for Radhika, she will never leave the beer industry and we thank beer for making the drink, the drinkers and the people who work in the industry feel inclusive and one (regardless of gender, location, etc.)
